Broads & Bars: An Autobiography

I can’t even begin to explain all of the awkward/funny/unbelievable experiences I (and my friends) have when going out to the bar or dealing with boys.

It’s no secret that I love to have fun – and not just the “drink a ton” fun, but I love to dance and talk to people and run around from street to street exploring the world around me. Thanks to all of these things, though, I have quite the number of stories to tell based on the crazy situations I find myself in on Friday and Saturday nights (and the occasional weeknight – no judgement here).

I thought the title “Broads & Bars” was pretty straightforward on what would be discussed: women (me and my friends) and bars (the places we go to and meet the most interesting people). There won’t be any names dropped in these stories, but I may make a few up along the way.

Honestly, I came up with the idea from Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw character. She wrote a weekly column about – shockingly – her trials and tribulations with men in NYC. Although I’m not as forward as she is, I thought I could easily share my stories just as well to whoever would like to read them.

Keep an eye out for future stories! Hopefully it’ll ease your mind about your own weekend mishaps and maybe even help you laugh it off.
